Historical elevator

The historical elevator in Izmir is an elevator tower that houses two elevators, built by Jewish Businessman Nesim Levi in ​​1907, connecting two districts, one 58 m higher than the other. The elevator tower was built with bricks brought from Marseille. At the destination of the lift, there is a wooden balcony supported by iron consoles and the cast iron balustrades decorated with various motifs. You will be able to dominate the horizons with the telescope in the historical elevator tower, which has a magnificent view of the Izmir bay.Its construction was completed in 1907. Until it was sold in 1942, its income was used to cover the expenses of the Karataş Jewish Hospital.Today, it is used as an entertainment, culture and recreation area and is an important touristic visit area together with Dario Moreno street. 

Cable car

Balçova Cable Car is a Gondola cable car located in İzmir's Balçova district. It was built between Yeşiloğlu Hill and the summit of Dededagi and opened for use in 1974.It has a magnificent mountain and dam view, and there are picnic and barbecue areas. It houses restaurants and cafes. You will be amazed by the smell and view of the pine trees. It provides service between 12:00 and 20:00, six days a week, except Mondays. Children under 5 years old are free of charge.     

Sirince

 It was a Greek town in the 19th century, especially known for its export-oriented fig production. There are two historical Greek churches inside. The most important feature of Şirince is that no house blocks the view of the other house. It is a magnificent hillside village with its natural flavors, traditional Turkish breakfasts, and hostels and mansions for accommodation.
