Traditional dental implants last from 3 to 6 months, but you can have your smile and self-confidence immediately with the implant on the same day. It is a much easier procedure with a single surgical consultation compared to traditional dental implant treatments.

The treatment differs from patient to patient, depending on the amount of teeth lost, bone quality and quantity, oral health and general health of the patient. The treatments are same-day implant replacing 1, 2 or 3 missing teeth, traditional bridges replacing 3-4 missing teeth, full set dental implants and quadruple implants.

When to Prefer an Implant in One Day?

When the jawbone is sufficiently compatible with adequate bone quality and quantity, same-day implants are recommended and additional procedures such as bone grafting or sinus lifting are not required.

An important factor affecting the chances of success is also general oral health and hygiene. There are some health problems such as diabetes, osteoporosis and Paget's disease for which same day implants are not recommended.

Another major cause of delayed healing is smoking. It is strongly recommended that you avoid smoking before being treated with an implant.
